What is a seaweed bloom?
A bloom is considered to be an excessive growth of seaweed causing accumulations on beaches.
Presence of seaweed on beaches is normal, however, if you observe large accumulations, it indicates an imbalance in the ecosystem.

Help us monitor these events by following these steps:
- Take a photo of some seaweed in your hand for us to be able to classify the species.
- Take a photograph of the whole area affected by the seaweed accumulation.
